Sunday Olota is a Consultant with the United Nations Development Programme’s Global Policy Network, where he focuses on energy, climate change, and mitigation strategies aligned with the UN’s Net Zero 2050 goal. He has 15 years of project planning experience across major oil and gas firms, including ExxonMobil, Shell, and Cenovus.

Sunday serves as an expert on the UN Council of Engineers on the Energy Transition, contributing solutions in carbon markets, CCUS, and clean energy access to advance global decarbonization and expand sustainable infrastructure worldwide.
