Mary Jane Coombs

Mary Jane Coombs is the Director of Industrial Programs at ACR, where she leads a team advancing projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Her work includes initiatives in carbon capture and storage, methane reduction from landfills and agriculture, plugging orphaned wells, and adopting lower-impact refrigerants. She also oversees efforts to destroy ozone-depleting substances.

Mary Jane previously spent more than fifteen years at the California Air Resources Board, managing programs to cut methane emissions, reduce electricity-related greenhouse gases, and direct Cap-and-Trade allowance allocation.
